It seems alexander’s favorite halloween phrase is

“oooh, spooooky!”

Just this past week we arrived EARLY to pick Zman up from preschool (which happens rarely) so we took a few minutes to climb around the woods and explore.  Handfuls of  branches were scattered across the ground. Alexander picked one up and said his favorite halloween phrase, “oooh, spooooky!”  

That sparked an idea.

 

Mix the branches with a little paint that I had on hand and waa-la! We created our “spoooooky” branches that now sit in a vase in our family room.

The project came to a total of $0.00.
