Over 2 years ago I thought the pain in my heart would never go away. Then I remembered with my son, if we had not set the sadness aside and chosen to walk out into the unknown, the odds of making a profound difference in his life would have been pretty low. So we chose to do it again. To find enthusiasm and move forward. As you watch each video segment, there is a mother behind the camera with a heart slowly healing. So happy to be at this point in the journey and incredibly grateful for modern day miracles!

Beautiful, just beautiful! This is quite the journey and yes, as you stated on my blog, I am so thankful to finally be at this point in our journey.
I'm so thankful I have found your blog!! I have just found out my son has profound bilateral hearing loss and your stories are truly inspiring. They give me hope for a great future. Thank you:-)
This takes me back a little over 10 years when we started this amazing journey with our daughter( who is now 11 1/2). I love watching the progression from babbling to talking.
Reese is doing amazing things and it just gets better and better.
Hi! I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your blog. I'm getting my masters in speech language pathology right now, and I'm on a grant for auditory verbal therapy. I've worked with a few children with cochlear implants so far, and it is so helpful to hear stories from the parent's perspective so that I can become a better therapist.
Hello, I'm a mother to a 4 month old little girl diagnosed with bilateral profound hearing loss. I just wanted to say thank you for your blog and videos. They have helped me feel so much more hopeful. Thank you!
